It is more scary but at the expense of being more slow. Aside from certain points near the end of the game I quote the "Bingo" line from time to time. More often then not I was laughing at the games story and a majority of the dialog for being so dumb.
RESIDENT EVIL 4 SWITCH REVIEW FULL
The main character Leon is just a full on action hero. The story feels.well not like a horror game. Horror is clearly not the main focus of the game however. I couldn't get behind the shooting in the original Resi games but hey maybe you can.
RESIDENT EVIL 4 SWITCH REVIEW SERIES
I agree with the fact that it maybe the best in the series in terms of gameplay. I bought Resident Evil/Resi 4 when it wasn't on sale and I still thought it was worth the price I paid. Until then what do you think I should do? Surely there are plenty of experienced Resident Evil fans and players amongst you who know better than I, right? The sales all end on June 16th, so as of now I have 11 days to decide. Once again my main question is, should I buy Resident Evil 1 or 4 on the Switch while they’re on sale? Although I don’t know if these particular Resident Evil Switch ports are any good, or if they’re worth the price, even when they’re on sale. Wouldn’t wanna dive in too quickly now right?.Īnyway, like I was saying, the Resident Evil Switch ports are currently on sale on eShop! The RE1 Remake is currently 57% off, only $17.19 (that’s in Canadian Dollars, which I believe is equal to $12.74 in U.S.), and Resident Evil 4 is 50% off, only $19.99 CAD (or $14.81 U.S.) Would you consider that to be a good deal for these games? Or are there better deals for these games on other platforms like Steam? I’m sure there are, but I’m mainly a console gamer, and I play most of my games on the Nintendo Switch, so I feel like the Switch ports are more accessible and easier for me to play. Like I’ve heard a lot of things about Resident Evil 6 (mostly negative things, so for now I’ll give that game a pass), and I don’t know anything about Resident Evil 0 (like where it fits in the canon/timeline, when I should play it after which game, or if the game is any good?), not to mention there are plenty of spin-offs that I’m not very knowledgeable of as well, but for now as a newcomer I think I’ll stick to the main series.

While I don’t own Resident Evil 3, I’ve seen gameplay of it and I get the general idea, though I might wait for that one to go on sale.Īnd that’s another thing, I’m not entirely sure which Resident Evil games are worth playing and which ones aren’t. I already own Resident Evil 5 (though I haven’t played it yet), and once again I got the RE2 Remake on Steam. Right now there’s a bunch of Resident Evil games on sale on Nintendo eShop, and I’m thinking about getting 1 or 2 of them, specifically the Resident Evil 1 remake and Resident Evil 4 (which has been said by many to be the best game of this he whole franchise).

I’ve been thinking about trying out some of the other games, but I heard getting into Resident Evil is not as easy as it may sound, plus my options are pretty limited, mainly when it comes to money and accessibility. Recently I’ve been thinking about getting into the Resident Evil series, ever since I got the RE2 Remake and it was amazing!
